I've been wanting to try my hand at other forms of poetry since the normal thing can be bland to read from time to time. I decided to try haiku, but I don't know of the end result. Sure, I did a quick study/research of it. It has the 5-7-5 and mentions seasons, so it must be a haiku... right?
As for the topic, I wanted to do something light hearted and funny to oppose my emotional stuff. I tried several different thing until I said, "it needs more cowbell." I stopped and realized that could be a line in a 'haiku'! So I ran with it and didn't like the first turnout since it didn't have seasons and the like.
So I decided to sleep on it.
I opened up word and this came naturally like out of thin air. Sure it's probably not ' proper' haiku, but I am merely trying it out. Enjoy or something.
